My Jealousy Grew To This

You can watch as I slit my wrists
But you can't watch as I slit my throat
The image is too much for your eyes
And the sound is too horrid for your ears
So close your eyes and cover your ears
Because you'll hear my retched cry
Don't be afraid, because one day you'll want to do this too
But maybe you'll be the smarter generation and actually get help
Unlike me I decided to fool them all
And make a bad influence on you just like mother never wanted
Every day I know you heard her say I was a mistake
And how she always loved on you and not me
My jealousy grew to this.
Killing myself in front of you
So you can watch me cry
But you can't cry yourself
Because you're meant to be stronger than me
And take on the world
Don't be under the influence of suicide
Because that was my mistake
So don't cry when I'm gone.
