Why have you forsaken me?
I'm being beaten cant you see?
The bruises on my arm
The lip thats red
Marks all over me
Feeling like I'm dead
My body just shaking
The tears streaming out of my eyes
Anger yelling in my face
Words filled with hate and lies
Scared to say anything else
Afraid of what the reaction will be
Fear that's covered in my eyes
I'm being hit cant you see?
Another slam against the wall
With a hit across the face
Holding on crying in pain
Wishing I could leave this place
So why have you forsaken me?
Abuse has overcome
Feeling drifted far away
Waiting for this to be done.
