You and I together,
So happy we can be.
But when we're seperated,
the bad things do step in.

You have so much pain, in body and in mind.
You have to much to do, and not enough time.
You do not get enough sleep, have trouble getting up.
You have so many problems, to many here to name.

I have so much pain, not near as much as yours.
I don't have as much to do, and have too much free time.
I don't get enough sleep, have trouble getting up.
I have my own problems, small things, not too much.

I don't want you to worry, about the way I am.
You have your own troubles, deal with them instead.
I feel as if I'm putting a huge burden upon you.
You don't show it, if I do, although
I do feel bad for it.

You and I together,
These things seem to disappear.
I want you to feel better, and hope
You feel the same.
