Choked body
Pretending it's nobody
Watch as it falls
Look as the image echos throughout the halls
See the imprint of your fingers
How the distinctive smell lingers
Feel the tingle run down your spine
All the bodies in a line
The rushing of all the pain going through
Nothing left you can ever do
You can bang and beat on the floor
But that won't make matters better anymore
You can watch as the grip faintly lets go
But you're not in that place so you'll never know
Watch as the body is placed inside the casket
You thought you always had it
Thought you were that person, thought your life wasn't great
And so you decided to backstab and start to hate
Stare at that choked body
Go on and pretend it's nobody
But you know that's your soul
Your life never a whole
That was your body that fell
That was your body that went to hell
That was your life taken away
That was your body and forever in the casket it will lay.
