If I Only Had A Nickel

If I had a nickel to spend,
I think I'd place it in my pocket
and keep it there...warm and safe.

It's not enough for everything,
but it's more than I thought I'd have.
After all, a nickel is pure...
Many of the things it could buy aren't.

A nickel, if cared for, is pretty.
If it isn't...then it may not be.

A nickel has two sides,
each unlike the other.
One side for your sister...
One side for your brother.

It's fun to share a warm nickel.
