The New Me

So this is my life now
Mindless, dull, and empty
Day after day after day
Nothing changes anymore.

This is not what I wanted
Not how I thought it would be
The future once seemed so bright
Where has it all gone?

I work the days to waste the nights
I accomplish nothing
What am I good for?
I'm not like me anymore.
