I lay still -
I am chained to the moon
and I shed tears
that chain me to you.
I climb the sky
and what do I see?
A veil of beauty, hiding from me.

Bury me above the clouds
all the way from here
where distant dreams bejewel your eyes
and make me into memory,
where nevermore will I exist
save for 'neath the midnight sky
where shared was a resonate kiss.

Chain me to the stars
and wonder where I am,
constellate my heart and soul
upon a string of gold
where noble Sagittarius trains his careful bow
and changes it to art.

but now... (I am waking)
the air I breathe is getting thin
and the sky above me is caving in
So once again I lay still
and shed my tears
that chain me to you.
